Ok I need y’all all to know that today’s post comes with ALL THE FEELS! I met Liz a number of years ago when we were both fitness instructors at Penn State. She was one of my mentors and originally taught me how to teach barre fitness! Fast forward a few years, and I got an email from her, saying that she was ENGAGED and wanted me to be her wedding photographer. Being asked to play a very small part in documenting someone’s love story is always a huge honor, but when it is someone that you’ve known for years, it definitely hits you right in the feels! Having the opportunity to capture Liz & Tyler’s day was the biggest honor and privilege, and I spent most of Saturday with tears in my eyes.

Y’all know that I absolutely love pretty plants and pretty florals and amazing bouquets!! I have been dreaming about dropping some floral knowledge for you to enjoy right on this very blog… but, the only problem?! I’m not a florist!! So… I began to chat with some of my sweet industry friends about how we could make this a reality, and that is when Megan Lucks connected me to Haley of Cedar and Lime Co.! Oh my goodness, am I grateful! Haley the kindest human ever, and her work is AMAZING!

Ok guys I wish you could feel my excitement through your screen because I am SO excited about this post!! If you know me well, you probably know that I have a bit of an obsession with my small colony of house plants. Caring for my plants has become such a wonderful hobby, and even though I sometimes feel a little bit crazy, having lots of green in my living and working space has done wonders for my mood, anxiety levels and overall well being!

Happy Friday, my friends! I spent all week wondering what day it was and am now throwing up my praise hands because WE MADE IT! I’m going into my first off weekend since the beginning of June, and I can’t wait to see some of my friends! Today’s Friday Chatter is a post for my photog friends! I’ve known Molly since college, so when she asked me to play a part in her wedding day, I was beyond honored! I have been SO excited about Molly and Kyle’s day for such a long time, and it did not disappoint! I could not think of two people that balance each other out better than Molly and Kyle. They were SO excited to officially be husband and wife, and WOW I don’t think I have the words to express how wonderful their day was!

I have been looking forward to Carolina & Brandon’s day for a long, long time. From the moment we met on Skype, I could tell that these two were most definitely the kindest and most genuine people I’ve ever met. When Carolina showed up to their engagement session with gluten free muffins and a house plant in hand… well, that was confirmed!

Ahh you guys this week has been BUSY but absolutely incredible! I’m coming off of my first experience at The Gathering–a mini conference and workshop put on by Hope Taylor & Caroline Logan! I spent all Wednesday afternoon, learning and being inspired alongside about 100 other baby boss ladies! It was SO amazing to know that I’m not alone on this crazy journey! Read more about my experience here!! Any who… I am gearing up for not just one but TWO beautiful weddings this weekend! I’m off to Fairfax, VA and then Bethlehem, PA to photograph two weddings for two amazing couples! I am SO excited to spend my weekend celebrating with their families!

Do you remember Anna and Darian from a few months ago?! We met at the Jefferson and had a GORGEOUS morning session! Well… recently, Savannah, Anna, Darian & I all headed up to our alma mater for Anna & Darian’s second engagement session.
