I’m doing a little happy dance because we made it through a FULL work week and are going right on into the weekend! I don’t know about you, but the holiday last week really threw me off! It was so nice to have a long week to dive into work and to get some BIG things done! Now, I’m off to an anniversary session with one of my best friends, and then, we’re off to shoot a wedding together in PA the next day! AHH this weekend is going to be a good one! Now… on to the topic at hand: choosing your wedding photographer!!

Happy Friday, fam!!! Anyone else feeling like they need a weekend after the holiday week?! I’m heading into a Saturday engagement session (in one of my favorite places–Penn State!!) and a day off!! It is the time of year where I am starting to schedule engagement sessions for my 2019 clients, and it got me thinking that it would be great to do a quick post to detail the perfect way to time your engagement session!

I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to do what I do each and every day. My clients trust me to capture some of the sweetest and most cherished seasons of their lives, and it sure isn’t something that I take on lightly. When Jeana reached out about having me capturing an in-home family session, just after they were set to bring home a new bundle of joy, I actually teared up a little bit at my desk. What an honor it was to play a tiny part in capturing this very special season in this sweet family’s life.

We made it to FRDIAY, y’all! I’m gearing up to second shoot a wedding tomorrow, am working with a sweet family on Sunday & get to head to my favorite beach spot for one whole day of vacation! PHEW busy season is here, but I am SO excited to get out of town (even if it is just for a day!!) Today’s post is all about your floral delivery!! So, when Maddie & Mike reached out to me about photographing their Penn State wedding, I pretty much had my car packed the second we got off the phone! Happy Friday, friends! By the time you read this post, I’ll be off photographing a sweet couple tying the knot at PENN STATE! EEP I am so excited! I’ll be back at my alma mater today for a gorgeous outdoor wedding (followed by a fun reception at the Penn Stater!!), and then, I am off to PA to second shoot with Savannah on Saturday! Ahh I am SO excited about today’s post! It actually came as a request from one of my sweet followers, and I thought it was such an amazing idea! I know that being in front of the camera can feel a little uncomfortable at times… I get it! Being photographed by a professional photographer can be a little nerve wracking… you’re dressed up, you’ve made a financial & time investment, and now she’s asking you to kiss and giggle in front of a camera?! Phew… that’s enough to kick in almost anyone’s adrenaline!

Today’s post is for all my fellow vendors! We’ve been at this wedding season for a few months now, and I’m sure we have all become too familiar with the dreaded and inevitable next day wedding vendor “hangover.” Now, before we get too far into this post I need to clarify something: A wedding vendor hangover is NOT a result of drinking too much while on the job! It’s not even a result of drinking!! I have never and will never drink at a wedding that I am working!! OK… now that we are all on the same page, let’s chat about what a wedding vendor hangover really is!
