As a Baltimore maternity and newborn photographer, I’m privileged to capture the intimate, joyous moments of families as they grow and change. From the nervous excitement of expectant parents to the undeniable joy of a newborn’s arrival, each photo session is a unique journey worth capturing.
Several years ago, I had the honor of photographing Jamie and Ian’s wedding. It was a day filled with love, laughter on the shores of Maryland at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.
A few years later, their family grew with the arrival of their first child. I was lucky enough to see them again for a sweet family portrait session when their Baby A. was just about three months old.
Fast forward a few more years, and these two were expecting again!
This crew was generous enough to be my guinea pigs as I worked to dream up and craft the From Bump to First Birthday collection.
We got to meet for TWO sessions, and today, I am so excited to share those with you… starting with Jamie’s maternity session!
In May, we gathered at Quiet Waters Park for their family maternity session as they eagerly awaited their second child’s arrival. Sweet Miss A (Now no longer a baby but a bubbly toddler!), a soon-to-be big sister, was brimming with excitement.
The park, with its tranquil water views, proved to be the perfect backdrop for this special occasion. We spent the afternoon basking in the sun, nibbling on snacks, and sharing in the family’s joy as we eagerly anticipated Baby C’s arrival.
By August, their family was complete with the arrival of their second beautiful baby girl.
A home photo session allowed us to capture so many sweet moments when Baby C. was just about a month old!
Our time together was filled with laughter, silly songs, and snuggles with Baby C. There is nothing quite like the joy of a new baby’s arrival, and it was such a privilege to be a part of so many sweet seasons for this family.
As a Baltimore Maternity and Newborn Photographer, I am lucky enough to see families at so many different points of their lives.
The opportunity to see couples evolve from engaged to married, to becoming parents is such a joy. It is an honor to be invited to photograph families at various stages of their lives and never fails to bring a happy little tear to my eye when I see just how much families grow and evolve over time.
