AHH these two!!! I can’t even get over how sweet they are! I actually met Kaley and Jared at a wedding last year when they were in the wedding party for Lindsey and Zak! Jared is Zak’s brother and was his best man, and Kaley was a bridesmaid for Lindsey! These two were so sweet […]

We started our Monday morning by stalking the weather… seriously. I was checking Accuweather, Dark Sky & Weather.com every 5 minutes, Kerri was too, and so was my roommate! We were so hopeful that we could make this sweet DC engagement session a reality because Kerri & Matt drove in all the way from Kennett Square, PA!! (What an honor!!!)

These cuties started my weekend off with SO many smiles! Emily and Matt were so flexible before their engagement session! They had to deal with a few location changes because, as we kept an eye on the forecast, it definitely looked it was going to downpour for their entire session. We knew we needed a location with stunning views with or without rain, so we decided on Union Station!

Ok… I definitely need to preface this post by saying that it was about a real feel of 101 degrees, and these two never complained once! We may have had insane humidity and tons of mosquitos swarming around our legs, but we also had some gorgeous light and nearly empty city parks (a rarity in DC!!). I am SO thankful for clients that trust their photographer, even when the situation being thrown at them is a little bit crazy! We got through the evening with cold water close on hand and a few breaks to cool down.
