In this final chapter of my journey as a brand photographer, I had the pleasure of working with an inspiring duo, Eden and Kira, co-founders of Pearl Wellness Practice. This experience was not just a grand finale and the perfect way to tie up my brand photography career, but also a testament to the power of passion and hard work!
Eden and Kira spearhead the Pearl Wellness Practice, a sanctuary dedicated to helping individuals struggling with eating disorders and fostering a healthier bond with food and self-perception.
Kira, a licensed therapist and co-founder, provides a variety of therapeutic services from personal counseling to group support sessions. Her passion lies in nurturing a harmonious relationship between the mind, body, and soul. Her expertise extends to dealing with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image issues, and providing general mental health support. Her impressive credentials and specialized skills speak volumes about her commitment to her field.
Eden, the other half of this dynamic duo, is a registered dietitian. Her role involves guiding clients through various aspects of ED recovery from planning nutritious meals to devising personalized treatment protocols, including special attention to clients with PCOS. Her philosophy, “all foods fit,” advocates for a balanced and wholesome approach to nutrition. She assists her clients in integrating this practice into their everyday lives.
The most admirable aspect of Eden and Kira is their unwavering passion for their work.
They have taken daring strides to establish a business that resonates with their dreams, touching countless lives along the way. They *somewhat* recently celebrated their first business anniversary and launched a podcast named “Grit into Worth!”
The brand photography session took place in a beautiful Baltimore row home!
It was an ambitious day packed with fun and productivity. We had an extensive list of concepts to cover, from professional headshots, visual storytelling of their services, to celebratory images marking their first business anniversary, and photos to accompany article-style blog posts. It was an exhilarating day, and I am incredibly proud of the outcome. I eagerly anticipate witnessing how Kira and Eden will utilize these brand photos!
Although it’s bittersweet to bid adieu to my brand photography career, this session with Pearl Wellness Practice was the perfect bow to tie up this incredible journey.
