It’s incredible how much can change in just a year. As a Baltimore Family Milestone Photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing the beautiful moments that mark the growth and love within families! That said, time and time again, I’m forever shocked to see just how FAST babies grow up! Just over a year before the session you are seeing today, I was photographing Katrina’s maternity photos!
It was an honor and a joy to photograph her sweet baby girl just before her first birthday, and today, I’m excited for you to scroll their beautiful photos!
Katrina and I first crossed paths when we were both with OTF here in Baltimore. She was a huge mentor to me as I gained my footing as a coach in a new city and has since been a huge supporter of CKP! Over the past year, I have had the honor of witnessing Katrina’s journey into motherhood, capturing a few of the most precious moments as her family grew.
Just over a year before this session, Katrina and Cory stood in nearly the same spot, her baby girl nestled in Katrina’s belly, both parents to be eagerly awaiting her arrival. Now, a year after her arrival, Katrina and Cory found themselves in the exact location, but this time, with an adorable, happy one-year-old in their arms. It never fails to strike me just how LUCKY I am to witness families growing and doing life together.
Baltimore has been the backdrop of so many significant moments in Katrina and Cory’s lives together. They have called this vibrant city home for years, and it was only fitting that we celebrated their baby girl’s first birthday in a place that holds such sentimental value. They have recently relocated to be closer to family, leaving Baltimore behind, and I am so grateful that they have beautiful photos in Patterson Park to remind them of a place that has been such a big part of their story.
Now… a little bit about their session!
Baby K. is a DREAM baby! Full of giggles and curiosity, she explored her surroundings with boundless energy. With each waddle and clap of her tiny hands, you could see just how much joy she brings to her parents. Baby girl is loved by her family, and loves her parents too. It was so special to have the opportunity to photograph such a sweet time for this crew as they prepared to move out of the city.
In the fast-paced world we live in, it is essential to pause and celebrate the milestones that shape our lives. As a Baltimore Family Milestone Photographer, I am privileged to be a part of these sweet moments, capturing the love, growth, and joy that families experience. Katrina, Cory, and Baby K.’s session in Patterson Park was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of family!
