I feel like this happens almost every spring… I spend so much time in my inbox, behind the camera, and processing later in Lightroom that blogging seems to fall by the wayside. I have a queue full of gorgeous sessions ready to grace your screen, and I figured I would kick off the marathon of recapping the last couple of months at CKP with Caitlin’s gorgeous brand session!
I’m treating this as a marathon, not a sprint, so while I would love to promise my next recap tomorrow, editing is going to take priority as soon as I press save on this post!
I’ve been DYING to share this session with you for a while because, not only is Caitlin one incredibly talented and special artist, her session was pretty dang epic. When I say this girl pulled out ALL the stops, I’m not kidding! Caitlin put SO much time into her session prep and curation, and it really shows… We had concept after concept ready to photograph, and it was truly so special to bring her brand to life! I can’t wait for you to see her lifesized brand board!
Caitlin is a surface pattern designer, stationer, and artist based in Northern VA with a love for all things scarlet, color, floral, feminine, and bold patterns. She has a heart of gold, the ability to make any stranger a friend, and is such an incredible creative. I’m always so blown away when I work with artists and get a sneak peek into their processes— seeing Caitlin crank out masterpiece after masterpiece during our session was SO cool. She has so many incredible (AND BIG!) things in the works, and I cannot WAIT to see it all come together! This joyful gal was a DREAM to have in front of my camera, and I’m dying for you to take a peek into the magic we got to create together.
Follow along with Caitlin’s adventures! She just got a new pup named Ruby who is an absolute DOLL! 10/10 would recommend giving her a follow on IG for the Ruby updates and all of her gorgeous art!
Actually obsessed with the light in her studio!
Loved being able to tie in the inspiration behind a project that Caitlin has in the works! Can’t wait for her to share the story behind this!
Fellow tea gals unite!
Me: What do you think about making a lifesized brand mood board?
Caitlin: Say no more!
