Hollie at Capitol Hill and Union Station | Washington, DC Graduation Photographer

I hope y’all are ready for ALLLL the grad sessions coming to the blog REAL soon! I’m kicking off my recap series with the gorgeous Hollie, a Georgetown Law grad! She has called DC home for the last couple of years, and soon, will move to NYC to begin working for a great law firm!

For her grad session, Hollie knew she wanted a little something different from the classic shots on the mall and was hoping for some sweeping Capitol views. Due to security concerns and a ton of fencing, we weren’t able to do the typical Capitol plaza shots we were hoping for. Hollie got to exploring the area around Capitol Hill before her session and found what just may be my new favorite little corner of DC! There’s the most adorable garden tucked just between the Capitol and Union Station— if you’re moving too fast, you might just miss it! The morning of our session, the park had the most gorgeous azaleas in bloom, and the light was BEYOND perfect! I could have stayed there ALL day! So grateful she took the time to explore!

We met at Union Station and explored the area in between that and the Capitol, stopping by Upper Senate Park for those gorgeous Capitol views. It was the most perfect way to kick off DC graduation season. I cannot WAIT for you to see some of the fun frames we got together!
