Stone Harbor Photographer | An Extended Family Session at The Point in Stone Harbor, NJ

Oh MAN, y’all! I have been dying to get this sweet fam on the blog for WEEKS now! I thought it was only appropriate to share now because I’m heading to Stone Harbor to spend time with MY family next week!

This sweet family session meant so much to me! You see… I try to do this VERY same thing with my own family each year when we’re in Stone Harbor (we already have our outfits planned!). Allison visits Stone Harbor with her family each year, and this year, her parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. To celebrate, they all got dressed up on one of the FIRST days of their beach vacation for a few photos as a group. If that isn’t dedication, I’m not sure what is!!

I just loved their gorgeous outfit coordination, but even more than that, I loved chatting with this sweet group! I got to hear all about that day’s waves (and that they were pretty good for boogie boarding), practiced my silliest faces from behind a mask, and loved knowing that this family was on their way back to their back porch for dinner and enjoying time together! We powered through their session and had SO much fun in the process.

I can’t wait for you to see some of my favorite frames!

East coast beach sessions can be a challenge because the sun rises in the east and sets in the west! We waited for the perfect moment of cloud cover for the clean light in this shot! Sweet Allison is expecting, so of course, we had to get a few bump photos for her!
