Nicola and Chris | An East End Park Engagement Session in Kingwood, TX

Y’all…I can’t even tell you how HAPPY this session made me! You see…about a million and one years ago, I had my very first photo session in this very park behind my home in Houston. Fast forward a few years, and I got to return to work with these two! It felt just like stepping back into a little piece of home, and I had a little too much fun exploring all of my favorite corners!

Nicola and Chris were such champs, y’all! I was able to meet with these two when I was home for the holidays. The week leading up to their session, the weather was in the 60’s and 70’s (Texas winters are the best, y’all)…then, the evening before their early morning session, the wind picked up and the temperatures dropped about 30 degrees. The morning of their session was absolutely FREEZING! Luckily, these two snuggled right through the cold and were the absolute sweetest! Nicola and Chris met back in high school, and Chris popped the big question in New York City, right in front of the tree at Rockefeller Center! (Talk about all the feels!) Their session was so sweet and cozy and was just the perfect addition to my trip home! Enjoy a few of my favorite frames from my time with such a sweet pair!

Sophie & my dad ran into us mid session and she insisted on watching us just like this for about 5 minutes…it was the cutest thing!
