Ok guys… I can’t wait for you to meet these two. I got to meet Ciera and Grant in Frederick, MD for their engagement session on Friday, and right away, I could tell how in love they are! They’ve got the sweetest way of communicating with one glance and know exactly how to make the other laugh.

I’m not going to lie… before this session, I had the total “end of summer scaries!” I LOVE summer so much, and the thought of having to put on a coat again is just a little too much for me to handle right now… but, after exploring this apple orchard with gorgeous views with these two, I think I *may* be ready for a little autumn weather. 

Do you remember Anna and Darian from a few months ago?! We met at the Jefferson and had a GORGEOUS morning session! Well… recently, Savannah, Anna, Darian & I all headed up to our alma mater for Anna & Darian’s second engagement session. We’re all really big Penn Staters, so naturally… we HAD to do a session on campus! Enjoy a preview of their beautiful Penn State Arboretum Session!

Happy Friday, fam!!! Anyone else feeling like they need a weekend after the holiday week?! I’m heading into a Saturday engagement session (in one of my favorite places–Penn State!!) and a day off!! It is the time of year where I am starting to schedule engagement sessions for my 2019 clients, and it got me thinking that it would be great to do a quick post to detail the perfect way to time your engagement session!

I am SO excited to share this sweet engagement session with you! Y’all, I feel like Mother Nature kept checking my calendar when she was scheduling rain storms because their session was rained out quite a few times! Luckily, these rainy days led us to a gorgeous golden hour!! You are going to want to see more of these two sweet souls!

Ahh I am SO excited about today’s post! It actually came as a request from one of my sweet followers, and I thought it was such an amazing idea! I know that being in front of the camera can feel a little uncomfortable at times… I get it! Being photographed by a professional photographer can be a little nerve wracking… you’re dressed up, you’ve made a financial & time investment, and now she’s asking you to kiss and giggle in front of a camera?! Phew… that’s enough to kick in almost anyone’s adrenaline! 

Ok… full disclosure: I had the hardest time coming up with the words for this blog post! I also totally edited & blogged this session through teary eyes. Anna and Darian are two of my sweet friends from college, and y’all…. THEY’RE GETTING MARRIED! (And I am obviously WAY too emotional about it all!) If you’ve spent any time around here, you may be familiar with my fellow photog friend, Savannah of Savannah Smith Photography! I met Anna & Savannah around the same time and we all became pretty close, so it was only natural that we decided to join forces to photograph A&D’s wedding!

During last week’s Friday Chatter, I passed the ladies some tips help style their engagement session outfits, and today, we’re diving into style for for the gents. See part one here! 

Oh I need to give a HUGE shoutout to these two for being SO flexible! I think we had to reschedule their session three times because of the RAIN! (The rain has been nonstop in the DMV, y’all!). When we were finally able to get together for their session, we had so much fun! We FINALLY saw some sun and spent the morning exploring the gorgeous Downs Park.
