Anna and Sam’s love story is the sweetest. With their genuine connection and shared humor that’s infectious, this couple exudes a radiant charm. I can’t help but look forward to their wedding day to be held in late spring of 2025, set on a slice of Southern Maryland that carries so much sentimental value. Their Southern Maryland engagement session was a delightful prelude to their upcoming nuptial celebration, and it was an absolute joy to document a very small part of their love story.
The digital age has certainly redefined how relationships are formed!
Anna and Sam’s love story began on the dating app, Hinge. Despite being in Sam’s final semester of college and Anna living 40 minutes away up north, the magic of technology (or perhaps the magic of fate!) brought them together. Their first date? A mini-golf game that marked the beginning of an endless conversation and their journey of love.
The proposal was a sweet surprise that Sam somehow managed to pull off.
Anna isn’t one to be easily taken aback, often prying until she uncovers what secret is in the works. Yet, Sam achieved the near-impossible by surprising Anna. The proposal took place privately, just between the two of them, with their family joining in the celebration later.
They were preparing for a family pool party at home and planned to get some coffee from Dunkin’. Sam surprised Anna with a special mug, hiding a ring box inside it, and in that moment, he popped the question. They arrived at the party as an engaged couple, surprising everyone!
Their engagement session took place on Sam’s family land, a slice of Southern Maryland that’s nothing short of enchanting.
This land, passed down through generations, is a testament to the family’s deep roots and enduring legacy. Soon, Anna and Sam will carve out their own chapter in this story, with a home of their own on this land.
We started their session with their sweet pup before heading out to explore all of the pretty views!
The landscape is a sight to behold with its sprawling hills, free-roaming livestock, lush fields, and endless skies. Their Southern Maryland engagement session was nothing short of a fun-filled adventure as they explored the property in search of the perfect views. We even hopped on ATVs to venture further into the property, making the most of this picturesque backdrop.
As the sun turned to golden-y pink, we got in the car and drove a few miles up the road to round out their session at a local park on the water. The views were absolutely incredible and brought two of the most spectacular parts of Southern MD together in one session! (The rolling views and endless water views, that is!)
The bond these two share is like nothing I have ever seen.
Sam appreciates how his inner child is safe around Anna, and how quickly she became his best friend. Anna, on the other hand, is moved by how Sam understands her in ways she never thought possible. He is the only one who doesn’t drain her social battery, and she admires his patience, gentleness, and kindness. In Sam, Anna found a love she never thought existed or was attainable.
Anna and Sam’s Southern Maryland engagement session was a beautiful reflection of their love, their bond, and their journey.
As they prepare to exchange vows on the same land where their engagement session was captured, I can only look forward to the beautiful chapters they will continue to write together. I look forward to their wedding in 2025, and I am excited to document their journey as they create a home and life together on this beautiful piece of Southern Maryland land!
