Introducing Ashley, Max, and their newborn bundle of joy, their Baby F! Having them as part of the ‘Bump to First Birthday’ collection has been nothing short of remarkable. Their baby’s arrival during the late summer was filled with love and warmth which resulted in the sweetest lifestyle in home photo session.
Ashley’s home in Washington, DC, served as the perfect location for Baby F’s newborn session.
Her house, with its reflective white walls, spacious rooms, and personal details, added a touch of sweetness to the session. Our entire morning was filled with the kind of light that I wish I could bottle up and bring with me to each and every session that I photograph— seriously, I was in photographer’s heaven between the sweetest babe and the most stunning light!
Baby F was an absolute delight during his session. His parents were so in tune with his needs, resulting in a session filled with cuddles and coos. (I’m always SO impressed at how fast parents begin to understand their newest additions!) Capturing them as a family of three was an so very sweet. Ashley and Max’s pride in their newborn was so evident in their beaming smiles, making the session all the more special.
The majority of the session was spent in his nursery, a room adorned with heirlooms and special touches.
Baby F is loved by many all around the world! I loved the addition of a globe puff ottoman, serving as a symbolic representation of the numerous homes of friends and family worldwide.The session extended beyond the nursery to the owner’s suite before we wrapped up with a few sweet photos in the living room downstairs. I love that we were able to document life in so many different spaces where this crew spent their first days as a family of three.
This in-home newborn session in Washington, DC, was the most heartwarming experience. Every moment captured, from the parents’ joy to the baby’s sweetness, made the session a highlight that I look back on with so much fondness!
The joy of photographing this family doesn’t end here. I got to see this crew once at Baby F’s three month mark (Recap to come soon!), and we have two more sessions planned for the near future! I can’t wait to capture more of their joyous moments.
