I’m not sure what they ordered when they built campus, but somehow, Loyola University Maryland offers THE most stunning light for every single session that I photograph! The campus has quickly become one of my favorite places to photograph and served as the perfect backdrop for Sarah and Nick’s engagement session that we photographed back in late August!
You see… not only did we have the most beautiful light and backdrops on campus, but this lovely duo’s story actually began at Loyola University Maryland!
They met through mutual friends, their journey of friendship gradually blossoming into love. Fast forward a few years, and this very campus where they met became the location for their fairytale proposal!
Nick had the whole thing planned out! He tricked Sarah into believing they were going to dine with his grandparents, but before that, a tour of their alma mater was on the cards. Little did Sarah know, a life-altering surprise was awaiting her in the heart of the campus. As Nick got down on one knee, presenting Sarah with a ring, she easily exclaimed YES! Their families joined in the joyous occasion, hiding just around the corner, making it a truly unforgettable moment.
Sarah is known for her vivacious and optimistic personality, something that Nick greatly admires about her. As for Sarah, she finds Nick to be the epitome of hard work, loyalty, and family values. He is her unwavering beacon of support.
Their Loyola University Maryland engagement session began at the beautiful Loyola Alumni Chapel.
From there, they embarked on a journey across the campus, exploring spots that held sentimental value and that also offered beautiful backdrops. The campus was abloom with stunning florals, enhancing the beauty of each already amazing location.
Sarah had hinted at their camera shyness as a couple prior to the session. It’s understandable to have butterflies for a first-time photo experience. However, this sweet couple’s genuine love and affection shone brightly, making them absolute naturals in front of the camera. Their love story spoke volumes, creating an vibe for their final gallery that was palpable and captivating in every photo!
Sarah and Nick’s Loyola University Maryland engagement session was a delightful experience, filled with laughter, love, and nostalgia.
