I knew I would be in for a treat of a wedding day from the moment I had my initial consultation with Erin and Ryan, but I wasn’t prepared for just how much I wouldn’t want their day to end! Just before Erin stepped into her wedding gown at the start of the day, her mom looked at me and exclaimed… “I just don’t want the day to be over yet!!!” While we had a long way to go, by the time our day got rolling, I felt exactly the same way— we had so much fun!
From the moment I walked into their Philadelphia Cricket Club wedding day to the moment we said our goodbyes, we were busy, but in the best way possible! You see… Erin and Ryan surround themselves with people that are as kind and uplifting as they are, and everyone in their wedding party worked hard to make the day as celebratory as it was easy! Their crew was there for everything from getting their pup there for portraits to celebrating with a toast and a shot just before walking down the aisle! It is always such a joy to work with a wedding party that is as helpful as they are fun, and they truly made their wedding day one for the books!
Erin and Ryan’s Philadelphia Cricket Club wedding day was over a decade in the making and couldn’t have been more of a perfect way to celebrate these two!
The moment I arrived, Erin handed me her gorgeous kit of details organized down to every last piece of stationery and jewel! I had a blast styling all of her special pieces as hair and makeup wrapped up with the ladies. After Erin was dressed and shared a teary first look with her father, it was time for her and Ryan to see each other and exchange vows!
Erin and Ryan shared a first look tucked under one of Philadelphia Cricket Club‘s trees, and after exchanging a few hugs and kisses, they read vows to each other for the first time. They actually read their vows to each other twice throughout their wedding day, once during their first look, and once during their ceremony! I love that this gave them the opportunity to privately enjoy and react to their vows in a way that felt natural to them while also sharing their love and promises with their family and friends later on. This was such a sweet option that worked so well for both of them!
After touring the property for some gorgeous couple’s portraits (And meeting up with their pup, Milo, for some family photos!), we met up with their wedding party!
I am still SO obsessed with the color of the ladies’ dresses! This gorgeous silver sage color took on a different look in different light and looked so stunning with their fluffy white florals and navy blue suites the gents were wearing! This crew made things so much fun from start to finish, and as we transitioned from wedding party into family portraits, their family kept the fun (and efficiency!!) alive! We rocked through SO much before their ceremony, giving Erin and Ryan plenty of time to breathe and freshen up before their I Dos… and plenty of time to socialize during cocktail hour after!
Erin and Ryan were married outside with Philadelphia Cricket Club as their backdrop, surrounded by family and friends. Their ceremony brought laughs and happy tears, rings and vows exchanged, and by the time all was said and done, these two were married after over a DECADE of dating! It was such a joy to document such a joyful occasion!
After the ceremony, Erin and Ryan headed to cocktail hour to enjoy drinks and hugs with their favorite people while their reception hall details were perfected for dinner and dancing.
Their stunning yet simple design allowed the natural beauty of PCC to shine while leaving plenty of room for their guests to dance! (And dance, they did!) As Erin and Ryan’s guests warmed up the dance floor, we snuck the happy couple outside for a few glorious golden hour portraits in some of the most delicious light I’ve ever seen! Seriously… just wait until you see how gorgeous these photos are! Once they headed inside, Bachelor Boys Band got the party started, and it didn’t slow down for a moment! Their guests were so excited to celebrate the start of a new chapter for Erin and Ryan, and it showed in their energy on the dance floor!
In short, their Philadelphia Cricket Club wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect! While Erin and Ryan are enjoying the honeymoon life, you can enjoy a recap of their gorgeous wedding day in Philly!
Thank you, Erin and Ryan! It was such an honor and a joy to be your wedding photographer— enjoy every second of your honeymoon in Hawaii… and your brand new life as husband and wife!
PCC’s bathroom will forever have my favorite wallpaper!
The sweetest first look for Erin and Ryan, right into their vows!
First look with their pup, Milo!
Their sweet boy reminds me SO much of Addie!
Time to get these two hitched!
Erin and Ryan had custom-made drink stirrers featuring their pup, Milo! They had so many gorgeous details, but this one was one of of my favorites for sure!
Erin and Ryan had their entire wedding party enter at once, and this may be one of my new favorite ways to kick off a reception with a bang!
Erin and Ryan took dance lessons with their parents, and their first dance and parent dances were SO good!
Don’t know if I will ever pick my jaw up off the floor after this gorgeous golden hour set of portraits!
And then it was time to party!
Thank you, Erin and Ryan! It was such a joy to spend your wedding day with you as your photographer!
