OK GUYS… get ready for ALLLL the pretty! I have been saving this post for a day when I just wanted a little something pretty to scroll through on my screen! I needed a little sunshine after so many cold wintery days! I am so excited to share a little sneak peek into the styled wedding from the Katelyn James Workshop Experience! Attending KJ’s workshop has been both a goal and a dream of mine for a very long time, and even quite a few months later, I am still processing all of the great things we learned. I am so looking forward to implementing some of what I learned during my quieter season that is right around the corner. You can read more about my experience here!
Oh my goodness, this SHOOT! Guys, I seriously wish that I could step right back into all of the pretty. From the fluffy dress to the tangled wild flowers, to the most incredible LIGHT that we got outside for portraits… our entire group was actually in heaven! Let’s not forget to mention our sweet models. Sharon and Chase’s kindness and patience was absolutely the cherry on top of the beautiful session, and can we talk about stunning they are?!
Now… while the pretty was AMAZING, I think what I loved the most was having the chance to watch Katelyn shoot, interact, and direct throughout the entire shoot. For my wedding photography friends, it was like jumping into a LIVE version of KJ All Access! What an absolute treat!
This styled wedding down in Richmond, VA was something that I don’t think I’ll soon forget! I can’t wait for you to dive into the amazingness that the creative team worked so hard to put together for us.

This table set up was to die for!!! I still can’t get over these winding, wild greens and bright pops of white!

Ok…. but can we talk about how gorgeous this ceremony site is?! I love this rounded arch, overflowing with wild flowers! Amanda did such an amazing job!
