Hello friend, and WELCOME! Maybe you’re new around here, or maybe you’ve been following along for years. However long we have known each other, I want let you know that I am so thrilled that you are here! Thank you!!! I have been dreaming about this rebrand for quite some time now, and to be (finally!!!) sharing this with the world is unreal.
The last couple of months have been filled with late nights, early mornings, lots of dreaming and feeling a little bit crazy for starting a rebrand smack in the middle of busy season. BUT, launch day has finally arrived, and I can’t wait to celebrate with you! Whether I’m ready or not, the site is HERE!
WELCOME to the brand new look of CKP! I don’t know what it is about this rebrand, but it feels so much bigger than the ones that have come before it. Maybe it’s the part that you’re not going to see (more on that on Friday!) or maybe it is because I poured so much of myself into this project, but I am so excited to share the new site with you today! Is it perfect? Absolutely not! While the blog import from Squarespace to WordPress was amazing (Shoutout to the Showit team for making that happen!), some links have changed and some image sizes and quality are different than I would like. I know there will be tweaks and changes on the entire site in the future, but for now, I am so incredibly proud of what you are seeing today!!! In the words of Lara Casey: Done is better than perfect, am I right?!
NOW… enough of the sappy stuff and onto the FUN!
The Rebrand Schedule
There are lots of fun things happening this week, and I want you to be the first to get the scoop. Giveaways, blog posts, pretty photos, celebratory confetti and MORE! I wanted to share a little sneak peek into what’s on the calendar to help get you excited:
- MONDAY (Today!!!) at 3PM: I will be going LIVE on Instagram to celebrate the launch and to let you in on what the giveaway is!!! Keep an eye out for entry info to follow shortly after in my feed on the ‘gram.
- WEDNESDAY: I’m sharing our Thanksgiving experience with you!!! Tune in for a behind the scenes look at our time in NYC in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. Also… the giveaway also closes at 3PM on Wednesday, and I will be announcing the winner LIVE on Instagram shortly after!
- FRIDAY: I’m sharing my feels and the heart behind my rebrand and the parts that you won’t necessarily be able to see.
I can’t wait to party with you people all week long! Thank you so much for being here, for taking a look around and for helping me live my dream each day.
And to the crew that helped make this entire project possible… you know who you are. THANK YOU! I started writing a list of people that poured love into me and this site during the rebrand process, and it kept going and going. And going. And going some more. There are so many people that helped to make this rebrand possible, and I just wanted to let you all know that they are actually some of the best the world has to offer! You all know who you are, and I just want to say how much I love and appreciate you. Thank you for understanding me. Thank you for loving CKP well, and thank you for telling me I am just a * little * bit crazy from time to time. Gotta keep a girl sane.
