Zainab’s graduation session at UMD College Park was truly one for the books! This session was actually a gift from her sister, making it just a little extra special! (Which… if you’re looking for a meaningful grad gift, YES, I do offer gift cards, and yes I’m obsessed with this idea!) Zainab’s session perfectly captured the essence of her college journey as we celebrated her achievements around campus.
The planning process for Zainab’s session began shortly after her graduation.
We decided to meet on the beautiful UMD College Park campus in June. However, there was a slight concern due to the smoke from wildfires in Canada, which could potentially affect the visibility of the iconic views we wanted to incorporate into the background of her session. Despite this, Zainab felt confident and excited to proceed with the session as planned… and I’m so glad we did!
Between the forecasted smoke and a warm summer day, campus was nearly empty. We had the opportunity to explore numerous iconic spots and locations that played a significant role in Zainab’s college career all while having the place basically to ourselves! From the iconic library and mall to the building where she completed her labs to the garden where she often took lunch breaks, every location that we incorporated had a special meaning for her.
Zainab graduated from UMD College Park with a degree in Biology.
She has hopes to continue her education in dental or optometry school. With her warm and caring personality, combined with a gentle spirit, Zainab is destined to make a positive impact on the lives of her future patients. Whether she pursues a career in dentistry or optometry, her commitment to excellence is evident.
As Zainab embarks on her post-grad journey, I can’t help but be excited for what lies ahead for her! Her determination and kind-hearted nature will undoubtedly lead her to accomplish amazing things in her chosen field. I can’t wait to see the impact she will make in the lives of others.
