It’s time, it’s time! I can’t wait to celebrate the incredible achievements of Carolina, a graduate from George Washington University. With a degree in Marketing and a concentration in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Carolina is destined to do so many amazing things in her post-grad career. Her warm and sweet personality, coupled with her impressive academic and extracurricular accomplishments, make her such an inspirational soul. Join me as we take a stroll through Carolina’s graduation photo session from this past May, capturing the essence of her journey and the joy of new beginnings.
Carolina’s graduation photo session took place on DC’s National Mall, just as the sun began to rise.
Despite the challenges posed by the official start of the construction project at Lincoln and the heavier crowds of grads that tend to come in with the spring grad season, Carolina’s easy-going nature made the experience a breeze. We embarked on an early morning adventure, navigating through the plaza and columns that the Lincoln Memorial has to offer, all while basking in the breathtaking views and finding the most perfect light.
I always feel immensely grateful when graduates trust me to meet at the National Mall at sunrise. Although it requires waking up WELL before the crack of dawn, the absence of crowds and tourists allow us to capture beautiful moments and create the truly iconic images I know they are picturing. The early alarm is a small sacrifice for the opportunity to showcase the beauty of this iconic location in its full glory.
As the early morning sun cast a warm glow over the National Mall, we set out to capture some beautiful images to celebrate Carolina and commemorate her accomplishments.
Her grad portrait session on the National Mall was a reflection of her time spent in DC. From candid shots that showcased her infectious smile to more formal poses that exuded confidence, I love how much versatility we included in Carolina’s session! (Plus, she really knocked her outfit selections out of the park!)
Throughout the session, Carolina’s excitement and joy were contagious. Her genuine enthusiasm and eagerness to celebrate her accomplishments were evident in every frame. It was truly a pleasure to witness and capture the radiance that emanated from her as she celebrated this significant milestone in her life!

PS Future grads dreaming of a session at the Lincoln Memorial should note that it’s currently under construction until 2026. Don’t worry, though!
