It’s FINALLY time… are you READY to start diving into the magic that was spring grad season? The last couple of months have been a whirlwind of working with incredible individuals all celebrating various milestones! It has been such a joy to work with so many amazing people… and though my schedule may have gotten me a bit behind in the blogging department, I would do it all again if it meant getting to cross paths with such genuine people!
Sophie, Hope, Sylvia, and Grace were the perfect group to kick off my spring grad season! Each of them achieved a significant milestone back in May, obtaining degrees in diverse fields such as Political Science, Communications, Psychology, and Biology. As their grad photographer, I had the privilege of capturing their excitement during this time.
Loyola University Maryland provided the ideal backdrop for this special session.
They opted to have their session back in April which was perfect timing! You *may* think that seems early with graduation in May, but with an early session, you get to take advantage of all the spring vibes without the crowds that may come at the landmarks on campus closer to graduation.
With Loyola’s picturesque campus and breathtaking scenery, it created a magical atmosphere for these gorgeous grads. The vibrant Kwanzan cherry blossoms were in full bloom, adding a touch of natural beauty to the already stunning campus. Light on Loyola’s campus is always top notch… and the soft, golden, spring light made their session a dream!
Sophie, Hope, Sylvia, and Grace were not only fellow graduates but also roommates!
Their bond and friendship was evident in every group photograph… and when just one of them was in front of the camera! They spent their session hyping each other up which made each of them shine just a little brighter in front of the camera. They giggled the entire time and were truly such a joy to photograph!
They are all on to do big things!!
From spending time with Sophie, Hope, Sylvia, and Grace, it was evident that their futures are filled with promise and endless possibilities. Each of these remarkable graduates possesses kindness, talent, and a zest for life. They were an absolute joy to capture, and I am grateful to have been a part of their graduation celebration.
Sophie, graduated with a degree in Political Science. Sophie’s determination and intelligence will undoubtedly pave the way for a successful career! After taking the summer off, she plans to embark on a job in the bustling city of Washington, D.C.
Grace, a natural communicator, earned her degree in Communications. Grace’s ability to connect with others and convey meaningful messages through various mediums will undoubtedly open doors to exciting opportunities in the field as she heads to Boston to start her career!
Hope, with a degree in Psychology, is setting out to make a difference in people’s lives. After graduation, Hope will be starting her journey in San Diego, where she will be attending graduate school. With her dedication and commitment, there is no doubt that she will excel in her chosen field!
Sylvia earned a degree in Biology. After graduation, she plans to move to Spain, where she will teach English and immerse herself in the culture! With her bubbly spirit, I have no doubts that she will take on this role with confidence!

Sophie, Hope, Sylvia, and Grace were a joy to have in front of my camera! As they step into the next chapter of their lives, I have no doubt that they will make a positive impact on the world. Cheers to Sophie, Hope, Sylvia, and Grace, and to the Class of 2023!
