3 Floral Trends I Love | Wedding Planning

If you know me well, you know that I LOOOVE bridal and bridesmaids bouquets! Fresh florals are probably one of my favorite details to photograph at weddings, and I always look forward to seeing how a couple chooses to carry out their wedding day design through their florals!

Just for fun today, and because I was feeling like scrolling through all the gorgeous florals, I wanted to share a few pieces of floral inspo AND a few “trends” I’ve been seeing in the industry! Enjoy!!!

Bright and bold

Bridal bouquets don’t have to be all white! (Though I do love a gorgeous white bouquet with greenery!!!) I love seeing brides opt to include brighter blooms, pops of color, and ties to other parts of their wedding day color palette in their bouquets.

And another… because SERIOUSLY, how am I supposed to choose just a few favorites?!

Add some ribbon

Consider adding a silky ribbon or something a bit more bold with your new monogram and wedding date (an automatic keepsake for when your flowers wilt!). I love the depth, dimension, and movement that ribbons add to a bouquet! Here are a few ribbon vendors that I love!

Full and Fluffy

GIMME ALL THE FLUFF!! If you think there are too many florals and too much greenery, I can nearly guarantee you that this is more than fine! I LOVE a gorgeous, fluffy bouquet featuring puffy blooms and tangled greenery. Just a heads up: the bigger the bouquet, the heavier it is! Don’t be shy about doing a few pre-wedding day bicep curls to make sure your arms won’t be on fire all day long! (*Kinda* kidding… but those things get heavy!)

Bonus: All About the Bride

If you’re scrolling while looking like the heart-eyed emoji while also feeling a little surge of financial panic, know that I understand! Florals are an investment, and the price tags can be pretty steep. If this is the case, I recommend going all out on your bridal bouquet while going a little smaller on your wedding party bouquets and bouts… I promise… I’ve seen this done often, and it is absolutely stunning! Your bouquets will be in nearly all of your photos, so treat yourself to the bouquet of your dreams!
