Favorite Portraits: The 2019 Wedding Season Recap

I’ve shared my favorite moments, favorite details, and now I’m sharing my favorite photos from my favorite part of wedding days! Can you guess what you get to scroll through today?!

The title of this post may just be a dead giveaway, but if you said PORTRAITS, you’re right!

Hands down, portrait time is my favorite time of the day. It gives me the time to flex the creative part of my brain as I look for light and make posing decisions, AND it gives me a chance to connect with my couples! I got to work with so many incredible people this year and to know that I got to tell just a small sliver of their love story through portraiture means the world.

As you may have guessed, picking just a few favorites from my 2019 season was nearly impossible! Get ready for so much pretty y’all!

Still so happy that we got SNOW on Kait and Dan’s wedding day! Cherry blossoms!!! Always here for a gorgeous veil fluff! These gals were just the sweetest all day long! That dip though!!GAH This portrait location!! I’m still not over it. Emily and Matt sure know how to dip! They took dance classes before their wedding day! We rounded out their portrait time with sunset portraits ON A BOAT!!! Yes, their reception was on a boat! It was so cool! Pinch me! I still can’t believe I got to photograph portraits at the Grand Floridian!  This may just be one of my new favorite portrait locations in DC! I don’t think I’ll ever forget how JOYFUL J&B’s wedding day was! Love these two!
