Kelsey and Blaine | An Elegant Cornflower Blue Cinderella Inspired Disney Wedding at the American Adventure Rotunda in Epcot

I’ve known Kelsey since the 6th grade, and I’m pretty sure that I’ve known since the day that I met her that the only place where her wedding would be is Disney! Disney has been a HUGE part of her and her family’s lives, and they have all been dreaming of and planning this day for years! I’ve known Kelsey for nearly 15 years now (How is that possible?!), and since I met her, I knew that she was dreaming of her Disney wedding day! When she reached out to me just over two years ago to put a hold on my calendar as she planned her day, you can bet I said: Count me in!! (After picking my jaw up off of my keyboard, of course!)

You see… I photographed Kelsey and her sweet sister Brittany so often at the start of my business! They were always down to try a new location with me, and at one point, Kelsey was even the model on the back of my business card! Now… her wedding day has come and gone, and it meant so much to me to be there as Kelsey married her very best friend in a place that means so much to her. 💕

Now… because I live in DC and Kelsey and Blaine live in Texas, we did a lot of planning over email and the phone and I actually didn’t get to meet Blaine until the day before their wedding! I have to say… I was a little anxious (but also excited!) to meet the guy that Kelsey was going to spend forever with. We met at Disney’s Boardwalk for their engagement session (more on that in another blog post soon!!), and right away, I felt like I had known Blaine for just as long as I’ve known Kelsey! He was cracking jokes while perfectly modeling the posing these two practiced in the mirror before their wedding day, and by the way Kelsey lit up around him, I instantly knew that he was the one for her. (I also knew that we were in for a really fun wedding day!)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen two people smile so big for such a long time. Their day was just that incredible. Savannah and I arrived to the Boardwalk Inn bright and early for details, and right away, we were met by a flurry of activity, Mickey slippers & so many hugs. From there, the rest of the day flew by. From a gorgeous round of portraits at the Boardwalk Inn to Kelsey and Blaine’s sweet ceremony in Celebration, couple’s portraits at the Grand Floridian and a party in Epcot (pinch me! Is this real life?!), I think it is safe to say that Kelsey’s dream Disney wedding day came and went in the most perfect way. These two officially became husband and wife in a place that means so much to Kelsey (and therefore means so much to Blaine!!), surrounded by so many of their favorite people. It was such an honor and a treat to be there to witness and document so much of the magic. To say I’m grateful that these two trusted me with such an incredible day is an understatement.

Thank you, Kelsey and Blaine, Savannah and I love y’all! I cannot wait for you to dive into some sneaks from your day!

I am still not over her dress!!! Every Cinderella-inspired wedding day needs a pair of glass slippers! I spy a hidden Mickey! Looooove these blooms! Just a little excited to be getting married! Love these ladies! I photographed these sweet sisters so much at the start of my business! It was such an honor to photograph them together on Kelsey’s wedding day!!! Dapper dudes! So obsessed with their ties! These two are the best! The most perfect gift for Kels from Blaine! Here for ALLLL the twirls! (especially in a dress this stunning!!!!) This wedding party made Kelsey and Blaine’s day SO fun! From nicknames to jokes and being so dang helpful, these people welcomed Savannah and me right into their group! I don’t think I could have handpicked a sweeter crew! Anyone else see a hidden Mickey?! Time to get these two married!! Official!! After Kelsey and Blaine’s ceremony, we headed over to the Grand Floridian for some gorgeous just-married portraits! This was my first time exploring the property (Luckily I was with a few pros!!!), and I kept having to pinch myself. How in the world are these portraits real life?! One of my favorites! Time to celebrate!! Their reception was in EPCOT at the American Adventure Rotunda! (And OMG was it beautiful!) I may or may not have photographed a bit of Kelsey and Blaine’s wedding venue while I was at Epcot the day before! And now back to their wedding day for a sneak peek at their gorgeous decor! Beauty and the Beast meets Cinderella vibes! It wouldn’t be a Disney Wedding cake without a few hidden Mickeys! I don’t have enough words to thank these two

A special thank you to those that made Kelsey and Blaine’s day so magical:
