Archibald Project Mini Sessions and a Special Announcement

Oh you guys I have been dying to share these mini sessions with you for so long! After some bad weather and crazy schedules put one on hold, I finally wrapped on my Archibald Project Mini this weekend! I am so thankful for the love of each of these sweet people and had SO much fun working on this project. I mean sweet kiddos, loving couples AND dogs?! What more can a photographer ask for from mini sessions?! Their support of my mission trip means so much to me, and it felt so great to get back behind the camera during this off season.

In addition to the sweet families below, I also have an super exciting announcement to share today. After receiving my fundraising update from The Archibald Project last night (and doing some calculations from checks that still need to be sent it)….my media mission trip cost has been completely covered. I think I am still in absolute shock. The generosity of my community (and of complete strangers!!) absolutely blows my mind and has made my heart grow about 10 sizes in the last couple of months. I was FaceTiming with a few friends last night when I was doing my final calculations, and I think they can all attest that this realization was extremely emotional for me. Any additional support will help out with related medical fees (vaccinations are expensive!) and travel costs.

Thank you doesn’t even begin to cover how grateful I am for your support, prayers and well wishes. To hear people say I believe in you and I can’t wait to hear about your mission and to see what you produce….well, I am legitimately at a loss for words and am actually tearing up as I write this. I don’t know how or why I got so lucky to have such amazing people in my life, but thank you so very much. Because of you and your generosity, the world will get to know the sweet faces and inspiring stories of the Selamta Family Project. The world will get to know a very sustainable means of orphan care, and the world will be able to work towards a solution for the orphan crisis.

My group’s flights are booked, I am visiting the travel clinic today, and this is really happening! AHH guys–this has been a secret dream of mine for so long, and I can’t believe that it is almost a reality. Together, we have the ability to change the world, and I am so thankful to have you along for the ride.
