Bridget and Peter | An Elegant Purple and Gold Wedding at The Warrington Country Club

I already know that I am going to have to stop myself from writing a novel about these two! Bridget and Peter are just one of a kind. They’re funny, and they’re amazingly kind, and they are so incredibly thoughtful. From the moment Savannah and I arrived in the morning to the moment we gave them hugs on the dance floor at the end of the night, Bridget and Peter were constantly offering ways to make our lives easier… let me remind you that THEY were the ones getting married! You see… they are just the kind of people that truly care about those in their lives, and this was so evident on their wedding day. They love so well and are loved so well by so many. It is because of that very reason that I know they are perfect for each other.

Spending Bridget and Peter’s wedding day with them was so special to me. I met Bridget back in college (when I was just a sophomore!!!), and to see her as a BRIDE… well, you could say I was really emotional about all of it. Photographing your friends’ wedding days is an absolute blast and the biggest honor. I am still wishing that we could re-live their entire day! From Bridget and Peter’s kind and entertaining wedding party, to their meaningful ceremony, gorgeous portrait views at Moravian Pottery & Tile Works, and family and friends at their reception that were ready to PARTY, I don’t think any of us stopped smiling once all day long!

I kept a close eye on the forecast for their wedding day the week before their wedding because, if you have been following along during this year’s wedding season, you probably know that it has been crazy rainy. Like… so rainy it has rained at least once at each CKP wedding this year! Low and behold, a Nor’easter was forecasted to blow through on Saturday! Are you kidding me?! I wish I could say that I handled the news with grace and poise, but there may have been a few teary and panicked phone calls to Savannah on my drive there. Luckily, no amount of wind, rain or crazy cold could put a damper on these two, and all my worries were instantly put at ease the moment I arrived! They (and their wedding party!!) handled the crazy weather that Mother Nature threw at us like literal champions. (Thank you guys!!!)

Ok… I knew I would have to stop myself from writing even more about these two and their gorgeous day because I know the real reason you’re here… their wedding preview! Enjoy some of my favorites from Bridget and Peter’s Wedding Celebration!

Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Bridget and Peter wore traditional Vietnamese wedding attire to cut their cake at their reception… can we talk about that gorgeous detail?!

I think Peter may win the award for my groom that was most excited for photos! It makes the biggest difference when clients are just as enthusiastic about the experience as I am, and Peter made the entire day so much fun AND so easy!!

Can we talk about how adorable their flower girl’s hair is?! That bow though!!!

Bridget… you make such a stunning bride!!!

You know you’re loved when your girls react to seeing you fir the first time like this!!!

There might have been a few tears… from Bridget’s flower girl (and me 🙈).

First look with Dad… all of the feels.

Time to get these two married!!!

So many feels… but can you blame Peter?! Look at how amazing his bride looks!

MARRIED!!!

Like I mentioned before, the weather on Bridget and Peter’s day was pretty crazy! I have to give Bridget and Peter’s friends a huge shoutout for being the literal best…. they stood outside in wind and rain for these pictures!!

When you are officially MARRIED! (and no one will let you forget it!!!) A huge thank you to Moravian Pottery and Tile Works for letting our crew stop by for some portraits! The views and the fall foliage were just amazing!

I mean… if you’re going to have nor’easter wind, you might as well use it for a gorgeous veil blowing shots!

Time for the party at The Warrington Country Club!

You could say that these two were just a little bit excited to officially be husband and wife!!!

The sweetest parent dances…

Once the party started, it didn’t stop! These two and their guests had SO much fun celebrating Bridget and Peter!

Bridget and Peter changed into traditional Vietnamese wedding attire to cut their cake (and for some fun night portraits!!!) Can we talk about how good they look?! I love this thoughtful way of honoring Peter’s heritage and family. Bridget and Peter will be celebrating their marriage in Vietnam soon where they will get to wear these gorgeous pieces again!

I mean… can a girl get any luckier?! Thank you for having me and Savannah along, Bridget and Peter!!!

A special thank you to the crew that made their day so amazing:
