Hannah and Chase | A Spring Jefferson Memorial Engagement Session

March 27, 2018

Guys, before I get this one started, I have to be completely honest. The day before my session with these two, I was so heartbroken! I had two engagement sessions this weekend with clients that were hopeful to include the cherry blossoms, and when winter decided to extend quite a few weeks on us and we had no blossoms, I was SO torn up about it! Luckily, these two, some pink magnolia buds, and some gorgeous morning glow made that all better! (Cue all of the praise hand emojis!!)

Goodness… I could go on and on about how sweet these two are. I was lucky enough to meet Hannah through work, and I met Chase and their sweet pup Oggie the morning of our session. Hannah told me all about their relationship beforehand, so you could say that I was beyond excited to meet the guy(s) that makes her so happy! From Hannah:

“I love how loved he makes me feel! He takes special care in showing me how much he loves me and knows how to bring me up when I’m feeling down. He’s my rock and keeps me level headed when tough decisions need to be made…and there’s never a dull moment when we find new adventures to go on!”

— Hannah

If you thought that was sweet, just wait until you hear what Chase had to say about Hannah!!

“I love her ambition and drive to be the best that she can be and her intense love for animals! She always sees the good in other people and she brings out the best in me.”

— Chase

These two are SO in love, and it was such a treat to play a small part in documenting this special season of their life together. Chase popped the big question over key lime pie in Key West as the two celebrated Hannah’s birthday, and they are planning on tying the knot in 2019!

The morning of their session was absolutely freezing, and I am so thankful that these two were such troopers because well… you’ll just have to see how sweet these two are together for yourself! Enjoy a few of my favorites from my time with Hannah, Chase and their pup Oggie! I just can’t get over how gorgeous the morning light is, and guys… we DID end up finding some pink blooms! Thank you, magnolia trees!!
